Origins AI Inc., doing business as ForEdu AI ("ForEdu AI," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information that you ("you" or "user") may provide to us through your use of our website located at ForEdu.ai (the "Website"), the ForEdu AI web platform (the "ForEdu AI Platform"), our social media pages, and any other products or services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, our "Services").
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into, and is part of, our Terms of Service available at https://www.foredu.ai/terms-conditions which govern your access to and your use of the Services. If you have entered into a separate agreement with us, that separate agreement shall control, and only those terms within this Privacy Policy that do not conflict with such separate agreement shall apply. By accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services. Each time you use the Services, the current version of this Privacy Policy will apply. Accordingly, when you use the Services, you should check the date of this Privacy Policy (which appears at the top) and review any changes since you last reviewed the Privacy Policy.
Please note, If you are a teacher, school, school district or other educational institution ("Educational Institution") that uses Services, please see the Student Data section below for details about how we process data relating to students.
We collect two types of information from users of our Services: "Personal Information," which is information that you provide that can be used to identify you (such as your name or your email address), and "Aggregate Information," which is information that cannot be used to identify you (such as frequency of visits to the Services and your browser type).
We collect Personal Information that you voluntarily provide to us when you use our Services. For example, you may provide us with your contact information such as your email address, first and last name, your company name, the content of your communication, or other Personal Information when you choose to submit such information to us through email, an online form, or other method (such as contacting us through our Contact feature on our Services). If you interact with us on social media, we may collect your social media profile information, your communications with us, and your communications and posts on our social media pages.
We collect Personal Information of users of the ForEdu AI Platform, including from educational professionals (such as teachers, instructors, school administrators, authors, editors and contributors), and any information that users submit, or cause to be submitted to the Platform, which may include Personal Information.
When educators and administrators create an account in the Origin AI platform, we collect contact information such as name, phone number, email address, account credentials, role/title, location, and other professional information.

When an Educational Institution customer uses our Services for an educational purpose, we may process data or information that is: (a) (i) provided to ForEdu AI by an Educational Institution, or (ii) collected or generated by ForEdu AI during the provision of Services to the Educational Institution; and (b) subject to or governed by student privacy laws such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Pupil Rights Amendment, and any other applicable federal, state or local child protection and data privacy laws, guidance, rules and regulations ("Student Data"). This includes student names, grades, course information, and other student data. Please note, we do not collect Student Data or personal information directly from students.
We consider Student Data to be confidential information of the Educational Institution, and between us and the Educational Institution, Student Data is owned and directly controlled by the Education Institution. We do not use or process Student Data for any purpose other than to provide our Services to the Educational Institution, in accordance with our agreements with the Educational Institution, including any applicable Data Privacy Agreement between ForEdu AI and the Educational Institution, and applicable law.

We use reasonable practices to secure Student Data, including employing administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
We do not retain Student Data longer than needed to provide the Services to the applicable Educational Institution. We will delete Student Data upon request of the applicable Educational Institution or (if required and feasible) the applicable parent.
We will not use Student Data for product development, testing or innovation unless the Student Data has been de-identified (anonymized) and aggregated. (We may use and disclose de-identified data for product development, research and other purposes. This data will have all direct and indirect identifiers removed.) We will not attempt to re-identify any de-identified data and shall prohibit any recipients of the de-identified data from trying to re-identify individuals.
You may provide us feedback and user research responses in connection with your use of the Services. Please note that this information may be collected and analyzed by third-parties on our behalf.
When you use our Services, we automatically receive and collect information from your device. This information includes the following:
If we have collected your Personal Information through our "Careers" page in response to a job opening, you are giving us permission to use and retain your Personal Information for the purpose of evaluating your application for employment consideration for the specific position that you applied to, as well as other roles at ForEdu AI. This Personal Information may be processed and stored by a third party talent tracking solution provider as well as with vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work relating to the recruitment process on our behalf.
Aggregate Information is information that does not identify you. Aggregate Information may be collected when you use our Services, independent of any information you voluntarily enter. Additionally, we may use one or more processes to de-identify information that contains Personal Information, such that only Aggregate Information remains. We may collect, use, store, and transfer Aggregate Information without restriction.
Like most websites, our Website may use "cookies." Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your web browser to help us identify you when you come to our Services.

Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we share Personal Information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of ForEdu AI only at your direction or when we have your consent to do so.
We may use artificial intelligence, or ("AI"), technologies, including those provided by third-parties in connection with the Services. We do not allow third-parties to train AI models with any data processed or collected through the Services.
Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 18 in connection with the Services. No individuals under age 18 are permitted to provide or submit information or personal information to the Services.
We strive to provide you with choices with respect to your personal information. Also, remember, you can opt not to disclose certain information to us - but keep in mind some information may be needed to an account or to use certain parts of our Services.
If you have an ForEdu AI account, you can access and modify most of your account information directly in your ForEdu AI account. You may be able to modify or access additional information that is not available through your ForEdu AI account. If you would like to do so, please contact us at Privacy@ForEdu.AI We may ask you to verify your identity or provide additional information before we act on your request. We may reject or deny requests for certain reasons, such as where such rights do not apply to you, when we believe a request is fraudulent, or when we are required to retain information for legal or record-keeping reasons. We do not handle direct student or parent data requests. Please contact your school or district for any data access, correction, or deletion requests.
If you have an ForEdu AI account, you may be able to delete certain information directly in your ForEdu AI account. You may also request deletion of your account by contacting us at Privacy@ForEdu.AI. Please note that in some cases we may be prohibited from deleting certain information (we will let you know in those situations), and some information may remain in our records after your deletion of such information from your account. We may use any aggregated or de-identified data derived from or incorporating your information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.
Please note: our contracts with customers (such as Educational Institutions) may give those customers ownership and control of your account information, and in those cases, you may be required to make requests to modify, access, or delete your ForEdu AI account or your personal information directly to the customer.
If you no longer wish to receive our marketing and promotional communications, you may opt-out by following the instructions included in each communication.
We take the security of your Personal Information very seriously. We use reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to secure the Personal Information you share with us. Despite these safeguards and our additional efforts to secure your information, we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your Personal Information.
The Services may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by third parties, which may include social media features, such as social media buttons or links. We provide such hyperlinks for your reference and convenience only. We do not control such websites and are not responsible for their content or the privacy or other practices of such websites. It is up to you to read and fully understand their privacy policies. Our inclusion of hyperlinks to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.
